Troubleshooting

I can't upload a photo, I get an error

Picvelo skips files in the wrong format right away and lists their names, and counts other errors in the upload summary. Four causes explain almost every report.

1

Unsupported format

We only accept JPG, PNG and WEBP. We skip RAW and HEIC files before uploading, and the message lists their names. We check the format by the file's content, so renaming the extension won't help. You need a real export.

2

File larger than 50 MB

A single file can't be larger than 50 MB. Export the photo at a lower quality or a shorter long edge.

No storage left on your plan

When you run out of storage, uploads are blocked, and the panel shows a general message that no photo could be uploaded. Check the storage bar at the bottom of the side menu, then free up space, upgrade your plan or add a +50 GB storage pack.

âš  Upload error

Failed to upload any photo. Check your connection and try again.

4

Damaged file

If a file can't be read as an image (an interrupted export, a damaged memory card), we reject it. The upload summary then shows the number of errors, and you can find the missing file by comparing the gallery grid with your folder. Open the photo in a viewer on your computer and export it again.
