Frequently asked questions
How is Picvelo different from Pic-Time?
Pic-Time is a sales platform: premium galleries, a print store, marketing automation and AI, billed in dollars. Picvelo focuses on one stage: the client picks photos in a protected gallery in their own language and you get a ready list for editing. If you want the tool to sell prints for you, Pic-Time does it better. If you want to deliver photos quickly and collect the selection, Picvelo is enough and simpler.
How much does Picvelo cost compared to Pic-Time?
As of August 2026, Pic-Time starts at 8 USD a month for 10 GB, and the 100 GB plan costs 25 USD a month. Picvelo: a free plan (3 galleries, 10 clients, 2 GB), Pro at 26.99 PLN a month or 300 PLN a year with 50 GB, Studio at 54.99 PLN a month with 200 GB and team access. Every new account gets 30 days of Pro without a card. Check the competitor pricing at the source, it changes.
Can I move my galleries from Pic-Time to Picvelo?
There is no automatic import and we are not going to pretend there is. In practice you move one session at a time: create an account, upload the photos from your next session and send the client a link. You finish the old galleries where they are.
Does Picvelo have sales automation like Pic-Time?
No. We have no anniversary campaigns or abandoned cart reminders and we are not planning to build a second Pic-Time. What we do have is what closes a session: a package of photos included, a surcharge for extras and files released only after payment.
Does Picvelo take a commission on sales?
We take 2% on online payments and nothing on direct settlements (transfer, cash), on every plan. Pic-Time charges commission on your markup and waives it only on higher plans or when you collect the payment yourself.
