What is new

Changelog

What we added and what we fixed in Picvelo. Only the things you actually notice while working with galleries.

Panel

The panel tells you what to do next

Once your photos are uploaded, the sending card lights up and stays lit until the gallery reaches the client. If you sent the link your own way, by text message for example, click "Already sent" and the gallery moves on.

  • Numbers and settings now sit directly on the cards, without a grey frame around every value.
  • Every client action, meaning the password, emails and deletion, now lives under one "Edit" button.
Gallery

A reminder when a gallery is waiting for the client

Photos uploaded and nothing has happened for days? You now get a reminder by email. Until now that signal reached nobody, because it only covered galleries the client had already opened.

Speed

Steadier uploads on a slow connection

Photos now go up in smaller batches and two streams instead of three. The connection drops less often, and when it does we retry three photos instead of five.

Gallery

The deadline closes the gallery and tells you

The client marked photos, never confirmed, and the deadline passed? The gallery closes itself, the selection is saved as final, and you get a message with the number of chosen frames. A separate signal arrives when the client downloads the finished set.

Emails

The client replies to you, not to us

When a client hits "Reply" on the gallery email, a deadline reminder or their login details, the message goes to your address instead of Picvelo.

Something missing?

Tell us what you need in your daily work. A lot on this list started as a message from a photographer.
