Photo security
Your photos stay under control until you deliver them
The client browses and selects photos, but the originals stay with you. Every preview carries a watermark with the client's name, so a screenshot is useless.
A watermark with your client's name
This is not just a logo in the corner. Picvelo overlays dynamic text on the preview, for example "Kate and Tom, proof". Nobody posts a photo like that on Instagram and nobody prints it.
- Dynamic text: client name, session date, gallery name
- Your own PNG graphic or text, opacity and position under your control
- Tile mode covers the whole photo, not just a corner
- You can disable the mark on featured photos, then the preview requires login
Originals never reach the client
The client only sees previews. Source files are available exclusively to you, after logging in to your panel. There is no link that could download an original.
- Gallery available after login, not from a public link
- File addresses are random and impossible to guess
- The gallery expires after the deadline, and the selection locks once approved
Privacy and full control
You see what happens with the gallery, and sensitive data never leaks from the files.
- EXIF data and GPS location stripped from previews
- Photos blur when the client switches the browser tab
- You see how many times and when the client viewed the gallery

Sending files means giving up control
Common questions about security
Can the client take a screenshot of a photo?
Yes. No website can block screenshots and we will not pretend otherwise. That is why we make the screenshot worthless: the preview carries a watermark with the client's name and is good for remembering a frame at best, not for publishing or printing.
Can the client download the original files?
No. Originals are available exclusively to the photographer after logging in to the panel. The client only sees previews in the proofing gallery, and the final photos are delivered by the photographer.
Are EXIF data and GPS location visible in the gallery?
No. Previews are regenerated from the original, so EXIF metadata, including GPS coordinates of the session location, never make it into the files the client sees.
What happens when I disable the watermark?
Previews without a watermark stop being public. We serve them only after login, so someone with just a file link will see nothing.
