Deadline reminder
If the gallery has a selection deadline, the client gets an email a few days before it, saying how many days are left. The number of days is a global Picvelo setting (three by default). You won't find it in your panel.
- it goes out once per gallery,
- an approved gallery or a gallery without a deadline gets nothing,
- changing the deadline resets the sent flag, so the reminder goes out again for the new date,
- if the gallery has photo sales set up, the email also mentions the price of photos beyond the package.
Nudge about an unfinished selection
The second email goes out when the client marked some photos, then did nothing for three days, and the gallery is still open. The email says how many photos they picked so far and mentions the deadline, if there is one.
It also goes out once per gallery. A client who hasn't marked anything won't get it.
Address check
When you add a client, Picvelo sends a short email asking them to confirm their address. It has no sign-in details and doesn't open the gallery. It only says a separate email with photos is on its way. The link is valid for seven days.
Google review request
If you enter a Google review link in the Logo tab, the client gets one email asking for a review, three days after they first download photos from a delivery gallery. Leave the field empty to turn this email off.
What Picvelo doesn't send
- there's no confirmation email to the client after they approve their selection; the badge in the gallery is the confirmation,
- there's no automatic email when you upload new photos to an existing gallery,
- there are no push notifications to the client, even if the browser sometimes asks for permission.
