Fees and payouts: when you get your money

For card payments Picvelo takes 2 percent, and the rest goes straight to your Stripe account. For direct payments we take nothing. Stripe sets the payout schedule, not us.

The fee depends on how your client pays

  • Card through Picvelo: 2 percent of the order amount. This applies both to extra-photo charges and to the whole-gallery package.
  • Direct payment: 0 percent. Your client pays you outside Picvelo, so there's nothing for us to take a fee from.

The money goes straight to you

Picvelo doesn't hold the payment. The amount for the photos goes straight to your Stripe account, minus our fee. We don't keep your money and don't transfer it later.

Stripe sets the payouts

When the money moves from your Stripe account to your bank account depends only on Stripe: on the payout schedule of your account and on whether verification is complete. Picvelo doesn't set these dates, doesn't know your balance and doesn't show it in the panel.

What about direct payments

Here you and your client settle up between yourselves, and Picvelo isn't part of the money flow at all. Our role ends with showing you the order with the amount worked out and waiting for you to click Payment received.
