What it looks like on a phone
The gallery page works the same as on a computer. In an empty gallery, tap the large area or the Upload photos button, and once there are photos, tap Add photos above the grid. Your phone's photo picker opens, and the upload starts by itself after you choose. Dragging files works only on a computer.
iPhone and the HEIC format
This is the most common problem when uploading from a phone. An iPhone saves photos as HEIC by default, and Picvelo accepts JPG, PNG and WEBP. We reject those files with a message about an unsupported file type.
You only need to change it once: Settings, Camera, Formats, then choose Most Compatible. Photos taken earlier stay in HEIC, but the iPhone can convert them when you share them.
Watch out for interruptions
Switching to another app or letting the screen turn off can stop the upload, because your browser runs it. For a bigger batch, keep the tab open and the screen on until the bar reaches the end.
When to sit down at a computer
A phone is fine for adding a few photos or taking a quick look at a gallery. Upload a whole session from a computer: the connection is more stable, nothing interrupts the upload, and the browser prepares the files faster.
