Enhanced preview protection

A switch in the gallery settings cuts previews down to 900 px and compresses them hard. Your client can still pick photos comfortably on screen, but a file like that is useless for printing.

Where to turn it on

On the gallery page, click Gallery settings. The switch is in the Protection section, with a short description. You'll find the same setting in the Watermark tab, in the When to apply group.

What it does

  • the preview your client sees drops to 900 px on the long side,
  • compression is stronger than usual,
  • the watermark stays the same,
  • your stored photos don't change, only the preview does.

When it's worth it

When you share work that's easy to resell or publish without your permission: personal branding, product shoots, event coverage. For a typical family session, the watermark alone is usually enough.

4

What it won't do

It won't block screenshots or saving an image from the browser. It protects by making the saved file too weak to use for anything except viewing.
