After creating a gallery you receive a link and optionally an access code. You can send it manually or use the ready-made email template in the client panel.

Go to Settings → Watermark, upload a PNG file with a transparent background and set opacity and position. The watermark is then applied to all photos in new galleries.

Can the unwatermarked original ever reach the client through the app?

No. The app only ever serves the watermarked preview to the client — the original never leaves your account through the client-facing channel. You deliver the unwatermarked file yourself (e.g. WeTransfer, cloud drive) after the selection is approved.

Troubleshooting

Common technical issues and how to resolve them.

Photos upload very slowly

Check your connection speed (Speedtest). If uploads are disproportionately slow, resize files in Lightroom to about 3000px on the long edge — that is usually enough for clients to select from.

A client cannot open the gallery

Check: (1) whether the link has expired, (2) whether the password is correct, (3) whether the client is using an up-to-date browser. If problems persist, send them a fresh link from the gallery editor.
